Brand CHARI was created in the year 2008 by the young designer – Marnova Maria, a model In the past. After living and working for a long time in Japan, USA and Europe, Maria came back to Russia and created her own design mark.
Jointly with the old friend, the American Chris Kramer from New York in the autumn of 2008 Maria has presented the first summer collection "Summer 2009".
Maria and Chris worked together over the first collections of CHARI. Only in the first collection was the men's line, created by Chris, but the distance (Chris lives and works in New York and Maria in Saint-Petersburg) has made impossible the further existence of a design duet. Chris has soon departed from work as the designer and from mark CHARI as a whole. Since that time Chari has stop produce men's line.
All the further collections the young designer Maria created by her own. And in 2009 in Paris, on the exhibition “Fame Tuileries” she has presented her second summer collection of CHARI (“Summer 2010”).
